South End on a Summer Day, 2010
I moved to the Boston area circa early 2009. I had fallen in love with the city as early as 2000 when I had first passed through for a single night on my way to Provincetown.
By the following year, I was becoming used to life “off the grid”, which is how I viewed the move from the orderly streets of New York City to the confusing maze that is Beantown.
I was meandering the city after spending an afternoon scouring the SOWA Market, which has become a fall tradition for me. As I made my way back into the more familiar part of town, I happened to glance to my left and see this vibrant and beautiful scene.
I fell in love all over again.
